Unity 5.6 Animation Error

After upgraded into Unity 5.6 some of my Unity animations stopped working.

In Unity 5.6 the animations will not play properly even if I just put in the clean FBX. However, in older versions of Unity, such as 5.5 the animations are fine.

After a couple of hours of digging around, I noticed, there is a checkbox of “Resample Curves” in the import setting.

Just uncheck the box, the animations were fixed!!

New Android Update breaks your Unity Android Signing Process

Just updated my SDK recently, when I was trying to sign my app I was getting this error:

Error building Player: Win32Exception: ApplicationName=’…/SDK/android-sdk-macosx/tools/zipalign’, CommandLine=’4 “…/Temp/StagingArea/Package_unaligned.apk” “…/Temp/StagingArea/Package.apk”‘, CurrentDirectory=’Temp/StagingArea’

Then I found out the zipalign tool has been moved to build-tool folder. I just drag and pasted the zipalign to the tools folder.

The problem was fixed.

Unity Shader error on Windosw 8

Some how when I was porting my Unity game to Windows 8 Phone I was getting shader errors.

Here is the error:

incorrect number of argunments to numeric-type constructor

The compiler doesn’t like the way I we use fixed4(1.0).

The fix was easy, I changed fixed4(1.0) to fixed4(1.0,1.0,1.0,1.0).
